So it’s not a frivolous purchase or something that you jump into without having researched it properly. And I’m pleased to say that it has ticked all the boxes.

Delivery: the desk frame arrived as four boxes on a pallet. […]
Assembly: took about two hours. Most of this time was spent searching for screws (turns out they are included but were well hidden), drilling holes and screwing. All parts are high quality and the columns fit with a solid click (no discernable flex despite the lack of bolts). The tilt control can be placed anywhere (plenty long enough lead), so also needs drilling (I did this afterwards).
Controls: the tilt control is fairly easy to use but you will need to read the manual. […] The phone app works fine but unless you want to use it for “stand up” reminders, the only use is to enable automatic up/down mode (disabled by default in the EU).

Usage: in seated position, it’s just a desk. A solid one; there’s no wobble (okay, if I really try I can make the screen shake slightly). When standing, there is a little more wobble; not enough to bother me but enough to be noticable (I can’t provide any real comparators against other desks).
One bonus feature of an electric sit/stand desk is that you can tweak the height at the press of a button in case you don’t find it comfortable; I’ve taken advantage of this much more than I’d expected.
Quality and value: I don’t have much of a reference point (vs other sit/stand desks), but am very happy with the purchase. Quality of the steel-work is good with no obvious defects or weak points. Assembly is easy. There is clearly some cost-saving on the single-motor design, but with 120kg lift capacity and the motor and gearing integrated into a single unit there is no real compromise. The motor duty cycle is only 5% (one minute in 20) but I have never hit this limit.
